We
Believe . . .
- That faith in Almighty God,
as recognized by our Founding
Fathers, is essential to the
moral fiber of the Nation;
- That our rights and freedom
are God-given and not derived
from our government;
- That human life should be
protected from conception to
natural death;
- That the right of
individuals to own, use and
transfer property must be
safeguarded against erosion by
government;
- That the free enterprise
system is the most productive
supplier of human needs and
economic justice;
- That government spending,
taxing and borrowing at all
levels have been excessive, must
be controlled rigorously and can
only be undertaken by officials
directly elected by the people;
- That the family is the basic
and most vital institution in
our society, and, the right of
parents to direct their children
must be assured;
- That marriage is a union of
one man and one woman;
- That we have a personal
right to own and bear arms;
- That our national security
depends on a strong defense,
secure borders and a sound
dollar;
- That our national
sovereignty should not be
weakened; and
- That our dual system of
sovereignty of the states and
the federal government, as
established in the U.S.
Constitution, must be preserved
to prevent an undue
concentration of power.

 The Spotsylvania
Republican Committee (SCRC) welcomes all
registered voters in the county to join the
committee who share in our core beliefs. We
also welcome up-and-coming Young Republicans to join
and be a part of a great group of friends and
neighbors. We have something for everyone in
the leadership process we promote, and YOU can be
the person to make things better for the whole
county. It all starts here!
Membership costs
just $20 per year, and availability is based on a County
Election District formula set forth by the
Republican Party of Virginia.
Available seats are filled on a
"first-come, first-served" basis. To apply for
membership, please download the application form below,
read the instructions on the form, and submit it to the
Committee by mail, or in person, with your check or
money order covering the membership fee. We also
accept credit cards online for your convenience.

Although
we certainly accept and appreciate your financial gifts- we
can ALWAYS make good use of an extra person or two with all that we
are involved in throughout the community.
 The
Spotsylvania Republican Women's Club (www.SpotsyGOP.com/SRWC)
hosts separate meetings and events in support of our
Republican candidates and county committee. Meetings
are held monthly and often feature a special (often
nationally acclaimed) guest speaker and a wonderful meal.
No matter what your level of interest,
political knowledge, age, or abilities are-
there's always a place for you with the Grand Old Party!

Working with
Republican causes or campaigns is simply a great way to give back to
your community and really effect a change for something you believe
in. No amount of mailers or advertisements can replace an
enthusiastic and intelligent advocate for a cause or candidate.
Our strength is our membership and the caliber of people our party
attracts.

You can also use your regular paper checking account
online! ACH E-checks are forms of payment for anything related to the committee
including: annual dues, new member registration, donation to
the party or a specific cause or item, convention/delegate
registration fees and purchasing fundraising items. We still take regular checks in the
mail or in person of course, and cash is fine too for small
payments not during an election season.
The
credit card feature is available through this website and
functions 24/7. Please use the special instructions
note area for any specific instructions attached to your
contribution.
We can also set up an auto-debit feature for those wishing to give
regularly (like a monthly gift.) Thank you very much for
supporting your committee! Even $20 goes a long way in
helping our candidates win!
We DO NOT see,
collect, or have access to your personal or credit card information
when you donate. All online transactions are encrypted
and we simply receive your donation and a transaction number for
your added security and privacy.
The Spotsylvania
County Republican Committee (SCRC)
relies and operates largely on volunteer time and
effort. As with any organization, there are
expenses such as headquarters' rent, utilities, printing
and mailing, and party election signs to list a few.
Your financial support helps provide the resources
needed to spread our Republican message to voters
throughout the county, and to encourage everyone to
participate in the election process.
